Richmond RFC Gearing Up For Community Day

March 30th, 2016 - With only two games left in the 2015-2016 season, the Richmond Rugby Football Club is reminding all fans, alumni and friends of the club to clear their calendars for the final home game of the season! The boys will be facing the Meralomas of Vancouver on Saturday April 9th at King George Park. The 2XV Blacks will kick off at 1:00pm while the 1XV Reds will kick off at 2:30pm. Prior to the men's games, our junior and mini coaches Lance Davison and Geoff Girling will be running our first clinic of the upcoming spring/summer season which will begin at 11am on the King George Park main field!

Concession will be open throughout the day, and our friends at Whitespot will be on site with their mobile food truck - hamburgers, fries and pops available until the end of the 1XV game. Post match will be hosted at Richmond's most luxurious dining and beverage lounge - the River Club (11111 Horseshoe Way) - with their $5 appy specials and Saturday rugby drink specials it is sure to be a fun afternoon and evening!

A special 10-Year presentation will be made to a handful of deserving members and alumni, as well as man of the match celebrations and the usual boat races. The day is sure to be an exciting one, with Richmond's men's sides looking to salvage what has been a difficult season by showing well in their final games of the half. Hope to see all of our many alumni out at the event!
